Propagate unknown

Post by fredyk »

I got a sample of this plant from Michael Barber who collected it on a GWAPA trip to Florida. It resembles ericaulon. It is a spiky plant, does not spread by runners. The second plant in the picture is Marsilea.

As you can see by the picture, it grows profusely as a emersed plant and has lots of seed pods.

I tried putting the seeds on moist soil, covered with plastic wrap and nothing happened. I also tried to germinate the seeds on a piece of moist paper towel in a glass, but again got no germination.

Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.
