dosing liquid fertz

I've been doing some reading on dosing aquariums. All I seem to come across is mixing dry fertz. I currently have a fair amount of Seachem Fertz. Any gidance on mixing some of these? I spoke with Seachem, they don't have any guidance.

Rico, not sure what you're asking. The Seachem products are already diluted to the concentration you want to them be. If you're mix liquids into a single auto-doser, in generally it's okay to put the micros in one container (Flourish and Iron) and the macros (NPK) in another. Good luck!

I was refering to mixing Seachem Ferts. I am dosing, and putting in 3-4 diferesnt kinds daily is taxing. I want to set up an autodoser, and want to use the liquids before buying dry ferts. Thanks

OK, then, you need to figure out how much liquid your autodoser spits out each day. If it runs on a timer, that's easy to do. Fill it up with water, and run it capturing the water in a measuring cup of some sort. (If you are using a DIY style auto-doser that uses a powerhead to pump water from the container, make sure to have it sitting exactly as it would next to your tank. Any difference in height between the container and the end of the tubing will affect how much liquid is dispensed.) From there, you'll be able to calculate how many days your auto-doser will run before needing to be refilled. Once you have that, the rest is easy.

Add up all of the dosing you would do over that number of days, and dump that into your doser. For, for example, for your macro doser, if you dosed NPK every other day and your doser runs for 2 weeks, then you would add 7 days worth of NPK to the auto-doser. Then, just fill the doser up the rest of the way with water, distilled is best, but not 100% required.

Repeat for your micros auto-doser, and you should be set.
