Unfortunately RTR is also the man who lost his new-ish tank of Bumbleebees while the tanks were under sitter care recently. Remember the group of especially well marked ones at AC I could not resist? Well, Frank is apparenly correct that they cannot withstand higher nitrate levels, as I have just found out. I may have lost some of the Red-nose red-tailed shrimp as well, I don't see many in their tank these days. Nitrate is not usually an issue with me, as I'm neurotic about partials - not much else, but water changes are my thing, except when I take 6+ weeks off.
Interestingly enough, the rainbowfish kept spawning - I'm infested.
