Can you use the dry powdered clay instead of wet clay?

Yes, you can. You can also take the wet clay I gave you, dry it and then crush it into a powder.

I planned on using the clay you gave me BUT I need more and wanted to check because dry clay is MUCH cheaper it seems.

I think I paid about $15.00 for 13 lbs. of the wet clay. It wasn't exactly pricey.

The dry stuff should be fine too though.

I went nuts trying to find that stuff.

I never found dolomite.

I never found the muriate of potash.

I could only find clay in michael's and the like.

Where are you getting the stuff?

I used to get dolomite from fish stores (back in the day).

Muriate of potash comes from the potash store on Rt. 7, just drive West until you find it.

Dave, IF I can find it I will let you know, there a few garden stores around so I will find it (or order it online).

The muriate I am stuck on finding so far..

I had an idea, buy a pound of ferts from Aq. Ferts.com and mix it in with the clay. I wouldnt use the full pound but it might work in place of the muriate.
