On Ben's suggestion, I tried a very dilute spray of Physan 20 (1/8 tsp per gallon) on a few of my crypt pots that had the yellow mesh mold/fungus as well as some others that had a powdery mold and now day 2 in, it seems to have done some good damage to the mold/fungus but not the crypts. Stay tuned....Aaron wrote:Jim - Are you using the small pebbles for your emersed setups? I'm thinking of switching to something like this because I keep battling mold big time.

Day 4
All of the 'mesh' yellow fungus/mold is dead. Crypts are still alive. I did not spray them directly so don't expect too much of an adverse reaction. I did spray some of the pots that had the nasty moss in there - the moss looks like it's suffered a lot (bwahahahahaha). The powdery mold has turned slimy - don't know what's going on there.
