Anubias nana on driftwood

this is the piece of african root i got and one tiny piece of anubia nana about a year and a half ago, now the anubia is like 10 inches long divided in two long sterns, what do you think?

by the way, sorry the spots all over the glass, that was after a couple of plants change

Looks nice! Anubias looks great when attached to wood!

Looks great. How do you keep your anubia leaves so clean? Mine always seem to get algae... Do you trim it?

nop, i got plecos, clown, bushy nose, wipped tail, chocolate and a marbled sailfin

had never had any tipe of issue with algea

new picture of that nice nana, huge difference since then, i just thought i should show it

also, look at this other anubia on driftwood, i bought it about 7-8 months ago and was about 1/3 this size...it even flowered!

update: both the anubia nana and the anubia barterii are flowering

so, whats the X-Factor to encourage individual (or in general) plants to flower? my anubia nana has two flowers coming out and im not doing anything fancy? is it in the water?? i do 40% changes every two weeks or ten days or so... i checked online but came out with nothing...

Mine seem to just do it at certain times of year, I believe it had to do with changes in ambient room lighting. My small anubias in my waterdog tank flowers this time of year, but I'm not going to dig thru 10g of java moss to see if it's developing one right now lol
