Tanks on vacation

Post by Spine »

I've had a couple of equipment failures on both my plant tanks (50,120). Things aren't to bad on the 120 but my 50 is in critical condition.
Instead of posting pics of dieing plants I think I'll post a couple of picture of the inhabitants.

Wood Shrimp - Atyopsis moluccensis

This shot is a little blurry and horrid but thats the best I can do until I get a speed flash for my camera.

Sorry about the water spots on the glass!! The fish finally got close enough.. of course they never came close again after I cleaned the glass. I got these guys from Scales they're very pretty.

My fish are finally spawning. I hope they produce some fry.

I got the last two pairs of those endlers. They're really nice looking fish. :D

Nice pictures too Kevin. Very clear of some hard to capture fish. :D

When did you get yours Aaron?? We were just there over the weekend and picked up 2 pairs....they had a whole mess of them that just came in from a local breeder.

Folks interested, it's a TOTALLY cool endler hybrid...if you google "California Tiger Endler" you can read up on it. They've been line breeding these guys for years in CA, and have only recently been spreading out into the fish world.

Good job Kevin on the pics! They're darty little critters for sure!

It is not murder if you're killing snails.

Ayla is breeding them in the back room at Scales, so there is an indefinite supply.
