Help Needed for AquaFest Auction

Post by JLW »

Hey Folks,

If you are coming to AquaFest, even for just the auction, one of the places we need a tremendous amount of manpower is the auction. I've started a thread on the PVAS forum asking for some help. You can see the number of people we need there.

http://www.pvas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=6375

If you're coming, please consider volunteering to help out. You can PM a volunteer to me, if you're not already on the PVAS forums. I'll add you to the list, just please include your name. :)

It's not just the auction. We need GWAPA folks to help out throughout the weekend at the registration desk, setup, tear down, etc.

Also, if you have nice plants, particularly 6-10" stem plants, java fern/anubias clumps, etc that you're willing to donate to the aquascaping challenge, please email gwapa@gwapa.org. Any unused plants will go into the auction on Sunday to help support the clubs. FAN will be donating plants as well, but wider selection is a good thing.

Just posted on the PVAS thread. For the auction, I'm available to work as a runner or in the corral for the PM shift, and will be bringing my 13 year old daughter.

When are volunteers needed for set up on Friday? My daughter and I may also be available then. I am happy to be put to work on Saturday too.

I will bring Staurogyne sp. 'Bihar' and Bacopa madagascariensis for the aquascaping challenge.
