You folks like plants. Killies like plants. Killies like to hide in plants when they're scared and they usually like to breed in plants. And, like many plants, killies are nice to look at.
Since killies are such a perfect match for plant people, why don't you come by the next meeting of the Chesapeake Killifish Club in Frederick, Maryland, this Saturday.

WARNING: Killies are the only known species group that thinks they can fly (well, there's flying fish, but those glide). Unfortunately, killies can't glide or fly. So if you keep them in one of your planted tanks that doesn't have a cover, they may try to fly, and when you come home from work, you'll find them lying on the floor, shriveled and coated in dust bunnies, rather than hovering and looking beautiful in your planted aquariums.
