It looks like they're closing, but hope to reopen sometime in the future in a new location that's more cost-effective for their operations. Hopefully, that will come true!

That was the last nice store anywhere remotely close to my house. :(

:(

I'd seen the recent facebook posts about sales, but hadn't realized what was going on. I hope they do find a good location and reopen.

I'm getting tired of every LFS I frequent going out of business. :(

I sure hope they reopen and maintain most of their offerings.

Why do they go out of business? For the same reason bookstores are closing--because most of us buy most of our stuff on line.

I agree, though asking people to not shop on the internet just isn't realistic. I takes me 45 minutes around the Baltimore beltway to get there and their dry goods prices are very high on a lot of things. Unfortunately, I think the best solution is to have a strong online presence as well such as That Pet Place, but that takes a lot of capital to get off the ground.

Thanks for the heads up Viktor. They still had some really nice fish. Rummynose, cardinals, sterbai cories, other tetras. If you're looking for that big school this is a good opportunity.

Picked up 30 threadfin rainbows for $45.00 and 12 zebra nerites for $14.00 !!
