July Meeting Food and Stuff

Post by Cristy Keister »

How about food for this meeting? Would anyone like to bring something? I will make salsa with chips, ice tea and fajitas.

What will you bring for the auction?

I'm sorry I've been MIA on the forums lately, I was swamped with ACA convention duties.

I will not be able to make the July meeting, unfortunately, due to previously scheduled vacation plans. Can someone else please help out Cristy with food arrangements?

I'm a little confused. I thought GWAPA had agreed to spend a certain amount of money each month for refreshments. Is this not correct? Does GWAPA not furnish any food or drinks anymore?

There is a food committee headed by Chris Todd, but any of us can supply the food and drinks, and submit receipts for reimbursement. I think the budget is $40 per meeting.

Yeah, what I meant was could someone help Cristy with the logistics of arranging the food. Usually I post something each month, and try to organize people, but this month is a wash for me because of the ACA convention and my vacation schedule (and because for a while I didn't expect there to be a July meeting).

For the auction I'll have some nice plants:

Barclaya longifolia - red
Limnophila aromatica
Eriocaulon setaceum
Rotala macrandra 'Japan'
Rotala macrandra 'mini butterfly'
Rotala H'ra
Rotala walichii

and possibly more sp if they grow out enough by Sat.

I'm going to be late because my brother insists I go charter fishing that day.
