May Meeting - Auction, etc

Post by Jim Miller »

I'm planning to bring my pair of Honey Gourami (sex maniacs) and any juvis I can find. That is if I can catch any of them.

Since they are constantly breeding the male is on a perpetual warpath claiming the upper RHS of the tank. I'm tired of the aggression.

Turned out to be what I think is a 45 gallon tank, no stand though, not sure of what else, in the auction this month. Should be picking it up tonight or tomorrow and will be putting it in the auction to benefit GWAPA and PVAS.

Thanks
Rob

I'm also bringing some myriophyllum mattogrossense that I got from Jen at auction. This has turned out to be a beautiful plant. I like it both planted and floating. As a floater it adds a very nice variable thickness frame to the top of the tank without being too optically dense. Very nice hiding place for fry.

Grows very well either way.

Looking for:

ALGAE!! Specifically diatoms/brown and the green dust and green spot algae. I have tadpoles in desperate need of some food (they will only eat stuff off surfaces and the premade diets don't work well). Your algae problem can save these guys!
Best, Corey
