March Meeting - Location Needed

Post by krisw »

As we announced at the beginning of the year, the board is hoping to do a hardscaping workshop at the March 27th meeting. Unfortunately, we've had all of our potential locations for doing this fall through. Does anyone in the club have access to a potential meeting location that would hold 35-50 people, tables for about ten 10G aquariums, and chairs? We are willing to pay a reasonable rent if required. Ideally, the place would allow us to conduct our normal auction as well.

Please let me know ASAP if you have a location we could use.

Kris

I would recommend that you have several members contact their local libraries to see if they have the space and the date available. I can check with the Sterling Library which I know has the space not sure on availability. Sterling did not have a problem with us doing the auction the last time I spoke to them.

I would appreciate that Rob. I've already called the Columbia libraries. They won't allow auctions, and are booked anyways on March 27th from 1-5pm...
