Native Fish Collection Interest

I am in whenever Bob wants to do this. Would be great to do it before the August meeting at my place so the entire club will get to see some of the specimens picked up as they appear in an aquarium.

I would be interested as well.

I know where we can get many different fish with a piece of bread and a bucket in Reston (assuming the pond is still there).

I usually collect with hooks and store in the frying pan, this time I will leave the fishing rods home ...

Sounds good.

Transporting fish in the August heat can be a little hard on the fish though.

be sure to bring the frying pan if we do go to the pond i mentioned, they are feisty little buggers.

We could also try Lake Anne in Reston, I used to catch fish out of lake anne without even using bait.

I know where to pull juvenile fish out if you dont mind jumping in the lake.
