GWAPA Membership Dues are Due
GWAPA Membership Dues are Due
It's that time of year again! Our memberships all begin and end on the year. I have sent out emails to all of our current members whose membership will expire at the end of 2007.
2008 should be a great year for the club. We hope to introduce a number of new topics, workshops, and events based on the survey results we've collected from you. In addition, the club will continue to provide the benefits that we're all so used to:
- High quality rock, wood, and substrate available to members at excellent prices.
- Our 3rd annual 2.5G aquascaping contest.
- A $150 aquascaping contest, only available to meeting hosts.
- Group orders on a variety of dry goods and livestock, minimizing shipping costs, and potentially negotiating reduced costs.
- Monthly meetings, with more guest speakers and topics in the works.
- Mini-auctions with some of the rarest quality plants available in the hobby, at unbeatable prices.
- Membership discounts available at a number of local fish stores.
- Online forum access, with informative online support and conversation. (And a new forum with more up-to-feature features.)
Currently, these are the members that DO NOT need to renew, as their membership runs through 2008:
Bush, William
Cali Jr., Joseph
Considine, Blaise
Donohoe, Todd
Dotson, Rick & Mary
Ghori, Ghazanfar

After updating all of our records, we currently have 68 members in GWAPA. I think this is a club high for membership! Thank you to everyone who invited new folks over the last year, and welcome to all of the new members. And of course, GWAPA wouldn't exist without the core members who have been with the club for years.
We're currently planning the 2nd half of the the year, and I don't think you'll be disappointed with some of the things we have planned. More on that, as we have more information.
