Forum works great! Thank you Kris. Only thing needed now are posts from the membership and lots of pics.

I've added two more features today:

1. Added Registration spam bot question to (hopefully) stop bots from registering.

2. Updated Private Message (PM) email notifications to include the message in the email itself.

Also, I've heard back from Tapatalk -- they should be releasing a patch for the problem Jim experienced replying to "global forum posts" within a week or two.

Finally, since I'm focused on the forum now, please let me know if there are any major features that you enjoy on other forums that would make you enjoy GWAPA's forum better. I can't promise that everything will be implemented, but I want to try to make the software as good as possible to encourage participation. Thanks! :-)

I love that the PMs now include the msg!

I've been having all kinds of trouble with Tapatalk, but not sure if it is a GWAPA forum problem or a Tapatalk problem.

The only other minor thing that could be improved is to somehow remove all the extra white space after short msgs. The avatar and info on the righthand side is stacked in such a way that it adds unneccesary white space to one liner msgs, which means more scrolling. This is definitely a nit picky observation, and it is the only thing I can find fault with.

I really like the look of the new forum. Makes us look much more professional. I really appreciate you taking all of this time to do the upgrade and tweaking.

Interesting, I received three email notifications about posts after your "Thanks Sean, for volunteering to write a few articles!", and I come here and the posts are gone... Mayhaps Sean or Kris deleted them?

Yep, I saw three PMs come across too.

On a separate note, I also notice on more thing that could be improved. The new PM box does not allow for as much text as it used to. If the msg gets too long, it lets you type, but you can't see what you are typing unless you stop typing and scroll down.

Yes, I replied via Tapatalk, noticed a problem, and resent a couple times to troubleshoot. Then I deleted, sorry for the dupes!
