Are we going to setup a schedule for people assigned to work the table at the catfish convention?

Good idea, Paul. So far, I have the following. Some are from many months ago, so everyone please confirm that these days work for you, and if so, we can work out times.

Friday:
Jeff Lenke
Kevin Epps
Rob Peterson
Aaron Talbot

Saturday:
Paul Sandler
Rick Dotson
Blaise
Jen Williams

I imagine we could still use a few people, especially for Saturday, so that folks aren't sitting for hours on end. The more people that help, the less any one has to man. I really wish I could make this convention -- stupid wedding!

I'll try to swing in on Saturday to help out. I'm thinking about 4:00 to 6:00? And I'll try to help out on and off as I'm in the hospitality room checking on stuff........

Are you guys bringing a small tank to display? One of those little two gallons would be really nice!

Thanks Sherry! If anyone wants to bring their small tank, that's fine with me, but I don't know if we'll have access to electrical facilities/water.

Any update on the material for the presentation? Dont want to show up with my hat in my hand on Friday. What time do we need to be there Friday?

Thanks

Rob,

We're just doing a brief presentation on suitable catfish for the planted aquarium. I'm working up a handout / outline that I'll email or PM to you soon. Honestly, you probably know more about fish than I do so I'm hoping you can help me field questions and interject some of your knowledge into the presentation.

The workshops start at 8:00 pm on Friday. I left a message for Andrew to call me to let me know what time we should be there to setup and what to expect.

Jen has graciously offered to work up some posters for us to keep at the table as well.

I'll let you know more when I know more.

Thanks again for helping out man!

Which cats did you have in mind to discuss? I can pull their profiles up to get a better feel for the specific's of each so that I have at least three or four speaking points about each. Are we setting up a planted tank at all?

No, I don't think we're setting up a tank. I think this is only supposed to be a 10-15 minute talk. I was thinking we'd hit on the basics, ottos, suitable plecos such as bristlenose, rubberlip and others. Of course we'll also want to mention cories.
