That 'accident' sounds suspiciously planned. No mourning for the dead - just a 'show me the shrimp baby!'.DelawareJim wrote:Anyone going to the meeting have Tiger shrimp? (Preferrably blue?) I want some for the 110.
Marlene and I just got back from a week of CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) log cabin camping in Western PA to find while we were sweltering in the 100 plus heat we had cooked most of the fish in the 110. We didn't turn on the a/c since the forecast wasn't supposed to be that hot and the tank was almost 100' the day we got back. Goo obos all gone, Apistos all gone but one which got really screwed up and I'll have to euthanize, Farowellas gone. Everything died except the Cories, 2 cardinals, and a Black Molly used to eat the bio-film on the surface). I think it was more asphyxiation than the heat.
So, since I no longer have any predators in the tank, I want some shrimp again.
Cheers.
Jim

Nope, no mourning. I was starting to get tired of who I had in there and none of the shops around here will take unusual livestock in trade. They only want bread-and-butter fish. Although they are all about my "Endler Guppies". (Sigh)
Belay the request for the shrimp for this meeting. Housework has piled up because I was away and I probably won't be able to make the meeting.
Cheers.

Unfortunately I will not be able to get off this Saturday from work to come to the meeting. Arlene and Ghazanfar will be there to run the show, and I expect it will run smooth as usual. I will be with you all in spirit though! (This working weekends stuff is for the birds)
I will be sending some plants for the auction with Arlene. Yet TBD what gets bagged, but I'm for sure sending some purple bamboo amongst other more common items. Have fun!!

It is not murder if you're killing snails.
