I agree, and even had started compiling a file on my comp of pictures of each of the plants I was keeping in an aquarium before Home Depot ate all my time and the tanks were an embarrassment as I noticed it was very helpful when people did it with fish at PVAS and CCA meetings with a brief description underneath.

I agree that it would be helpful to have pictures of the plants. That said, I don't want to reproduce the "Plant Finder" that APC has. It's fantastic, and there's no reason to duplicate the effort. If you have a plant picture that's not on APC's Plant Finder, send it to them, and have them add it.
That said, I think it would be a good idea if I downloaded those (and other) pictures to my laptop, so that during the auction, I could easily display them if need be. The hardest part of this is getting the pictures.

Pruning? We are supposed to prune? Rosettes don't prune very well - except attempting to control swords, and that is an uphill battle I no longer choose to fight. Thinning however does tend to lead to re-setting, as the other Jeff has discovered. Even slow groth has its pitfalls.
Where's the fish? Neptune
Just one last reminder for anyone who still hasn't given their feedback/suggestions about the club, you can still do so at:

Announcement #1: In a huge coup, GWAPA has arranged for Takashi Amano himself to plant Dave's tank on the 26th, while the rest of us lounge around drinking our favorite beverage and providing running commentary.
Announcement #2: Free ADA products for everyone!
Announcement #3: The board is forced into hiding when it is revealed both the Amano visit and free ADA products were procured through blackmail and extortion.
Announcement #4: Kris Weinhold declares himself "President for Life" while in hiding somewhere in the former DVAGA territory. GWAPA fees are doubled and must be paid in cash.
