PVAS does not solicit plant donations from commercial nurseries such as Florida Aquatic Plants for its spring auction, so it's a great opportunity for people growing high-quality and less available species to attract good prices. All items on offer must be entered in MyGroupAuctions (www.mygroupauctions.com) and be properly bagged and labelled per our auction rules (www.pvas.com/auctions).
The volunteers who run the corral and tee up livestock and plants to be auctioned do a great job with timing and spacing out the various livestock species, but sometimes not so much when it comes to plants. If a friendly aquatic plant expert would be willing to volunteer in the corral to help determine the order in which plants should go up, it would be very much appreciated, even if just for an hour or two.
We hope to see many of our GWAPA friends there.
