Thank you!

Post by daniel4832 »

I just wanted to thank everyone for making feel so welcomed to my first GWAPA meeting. The talk was perfect, the tanks were incredible looking, and I had a wonderful time.
My only disappointment is that only half of my homemade mac & cheese was eaten. :D
Thanks again,
Daniel

I'm glad that you enjoyed your first meeting Daniel. Hopefully, Kris' talk helped you no longer be afraid of growing plants.

I know that I always learn something new at each meeting. This past year was my first year to try out doing aqauscapes with foreground plants. It was a great review for me even though I've been coming to the meetings for nearly 4 years.

I'm disappointed to hear that about the Mac and Cheese too. My son and I both thought it was great and wanted more, but we didn't want to hog it all. Next time, I will just dig in!

Hope to see you at future mtgs too.

Glad you had a good time Daniel. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to introduce myself.

Julie, I will then bring it again to next meeting! Aaron, please introduce yourself to me (graying black hair & beard w/ cane) at the next meeting! I'm truly looking forward to next meeting, maybe I'll even get some plants, if George & Marge don't keep outbidding me. I really wanted that bag of Josh's Anubias!
Thanks,
Daniel

The reason you had leftover mac cheese is I wasn't there!! :)

And here's a tip to beat Marge at the auction...post up what you're looking for beforehand and arrange to buy outside the auction! I don't think many people have a track record of beating Marge when she comes to an auction and wants something!! :)

Sorry I didn't get to meet you this meeting...hopefully I can next month. Welcome!
