Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Surely the police will be wondering what is going on with everyone huddled around a trunk and passing cash around. However one look at our bunch and the police will probably decide we are too geeky (myself included).scientist0724 wrote:Will you be out in a dark alley selling these out of the back of your car??? Late entry, I can make some of it. Any chance we can squeeze in a quick moving auction?

I'm not sure what the schedule is going to be. Regardless, my fish room will be open from 1400-1700 (2 p.m. -5 p.m.). Address is 12606 Bayard Drive, Reston, VA. Please park on the street. Please follow sidewalk to the right of the garage to the patio/fishpond and then come down the stairs to the fish room. Aside from the storage room - the entire basement is the fish room. (PLEASE don't use the front door.)
I have not been advised about snacks/etc.; however, I can make space on the freezer top for folks to spread out stuff they wish to share (might even borrow a table cloth from the boss.) I'll probably pick up a few light items, too.
I've seen discussions/questions in various spaces about am auction. With the new arrivals, I have numerous tanks/tubs on the floor; I'm working on cutting these back. There is some space (albeit tight) available to conduct a mini-auction if "management" would like to conduct one.

Michael, you're welcome to provide snack, but since this is meant to be fairly fluid, the official expectations for attendees should be 'no food will be provided.'
Also, to avoid auction time run-overs, we'll conduct a mini-auction at the end of the day at Eugen's house.

I will have some stuff to sell mostly out of my tanks, if anyone is interested. Still have a bunch of juvie bristlenoses (standard and long fin), 5 peacock gudgeons, black baubalti shrimp, and some misc plants. So keep that in mind if you're looking for such things!
It is not murder if you're killing snails.
