Looking for some replacement plants

Post by Chris »

Hello -

As many of you know I will be moving to Alaska on October 1st. I have already moved my wife Kelly and our 3 dogs up. Rachel O'leary has been kind enough to care fo my fish until I am up there permanently, and has already shipped my plants over. Due to the post office losing my package for a couple of days alot of the more delicate plants did not make the journey. :(

What I would like to do is purchase (or accept donations :) ) plants that I could check in my luggage, and that way they wouldn't be subjected to being unsubmersed and in total darkness for more than 24hrs.

The plants I'm looking for/didn't make it are:
- Vallisneria tortifolia (Twisted val)
- Sagittaria subulata (Dwarf sag)
- Marsilea drummondii (4-leaf clover)
- Eleocharis acicularis (Dwarf hairgrass)
- Cabomba caroliniana
- Ceratophyllum demursum (Hornwort)
- Java moss (BBA and hair algae free please)
- and anything else I could create a low maintenance "lawn" with. (I do have CO2 now!)

Please PM me, call me (571-232-6354), or grab me at the next meeting and let me know if you can help.
Who knows I may be a great source for fresh Salmon/crab legs in the near future

Take Care,
Chris
