September Meeting

Meeting Saturday (September 28th) at 1PM
Join us for a demonstration, “How to expertly trim plants to create beautiful aquascapes”with our own talented Nick Kinser.

Our host will be Cristy Keister in Laurel, MD. She has a 75 gallon display tank for Nick to trim and a newly setup, large paludarium to show off.

We are placing a Group Order for plants with ShopAquariumFish.com which will be delivered for pickup at this meeting. Orders due by Friday, Sept 20th! Please visit the Group Orders forum for more information about the order.

We will also hold our regular monthly auction. Members and non-members are welcome!

We also have an order of manzanita and el jefe stone that needs to be moved from Alexandria to Viktor's shed in Gaithersburg. Damian has offered use of his truck to bring the order to the meeting in Laurel, but he needs help to load the truck. If you are able to help in Alexandria, please let us know!

Who's coming to the meeting? What do you have to bring?

I'll be there with some shrimp and negodagua tetras for the auction. I will also bring some donations.

I'm going to make rhubarb apple crumble and order Indian pizzas (and maybe some Italian ones, too).

Going to bring a mystery plant that is either Littorella uniflora or some sort of dwarf Sagittaria. I also need to remember to bring some carnivorous plants because some people are interested.
