AGA Volunteers Needed!

As mentioned at the meeting on Saturday, we need volunteers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the AGA convention (April 10-12). These are the roles that we need help on:

Friday: Registration and Sales Tables. Friday morning (7:30am - 9:00am), and Friday afternoon 4:30pm on.
General setup help Friday during day before 6pm

Saturday:
Registration and sales tables
General help as needed

Sunday:
Auction check in/check out
Auction recorders
Auction runners
Tag sale recorders
Auctioneers

The organizers have put literally weeks of planning into this event. We need the membership to step up and volunteer a few hours here and there to make it a success. The more people the step up, the easier it will be on everyone. We'll do everything we can to minimize the number of talks/events any person misses on Saturday, but this will require lots of people to assist so we can spread it around.

Thanks to you three (and a couple others who contacted me privately) who have volunteered thus far! We definitely still need lots more people to step up. If every member volunteered just an hour or two over the course of the weekend, we'd have enough help and no one would be overly burdened. Please let me know, even if it's just an hour or two.

Kris - I can do Friday from early morning (your 0730 need) and general set up help till about 4:00 - I have another meeting back here in Baltimore at 6:30 so have to leave around 4 - or when you don't need me any longer.

I'm doing raffle sales, but I'll also be there Friday afternoon and evening for general help as needed. I'm glad to help with the auction as well.

I believe Jen should have noted my helping with the Hospitality Suite on Friday night but I could probably help with general setup during the day on Friday and then possibly registration/sales Friday 430 on for a bit. I have arranged for that Friday off from work to reappear into the GWAPA world since I have been a ghost for so long. Not sure how much I will be able to be there on the weekend unfortunately. If there I will find some way to contribute.
