Hey everyone.
Please see the thread in the Algae forum on APC called Organics Analysis. One of our members (Jeffrey Funk) has access to lab equipment and has been analyzing water samples in an effort to ascertain just how much total organic carbon (usually referred to as 'organics') tends to bring about algae issues. He'll be at Aquafest, so if you would, please bring him some water samples from your tanks along with details about how the tank is doing, what algae is present, etc (that last part can be put in the thread though). There is more discussion in my Trouble on the Farm thread in the fertilizing forum. It does not matter if your tank is infested with BBA or spotless; all data is valuable.
Also, I really need the PAR meter! Anyone have it?
Thanks, Cavan

So you'll bring that and some water samples to Aquafest?
