FOOD! Dec 2nd mtg

Post by jweis »

The December 2nd meeting will be here before we know it. Please sign up to bring something. Last year there were many tasty dishes. :)

Here is what we need food wise:

Soda pop (total of five 2-liter bottles, or equiv in cans)
Appetizers
Side dishes
Main dishes
Desserts

I'll make sure we are set on utensils, napkins, and plates.

And I'll make sure we have enough ice, so no one needs to bring any.

We have a lot of soda and water that I bought for the last meeting. It's covered. Totally. Really.

Oh - and they're cans, so it would be nice if someone had a cooler of ice to put them in.

George said he would supply ice. I always have a cooler in the back of my minivan if he doesn't have one at his home.

While you are preparing your Thanksgiving feast, think about the upcoming GWAPA mtg. Perhaps you can make extra of something and freeze it. I plan to make extra homemade cranberry relish, freeze it, and then bring it thawed to the Dec 2nd mtg.

Cookies freeze well, as do lots of other Thanksgiving fixings. Just a thought.... ;)
