Food for October meeting

Post by chris_todd »

Since the October meeting is at That Fish Place, and starts at noon rather than our normal time of 1 pm, we're going to forgo the usual food arrangements. I suggest everyone get something to eat before the meeting. There are several restaurants on Centreville Road, and I can recommend Isaac's, which is a family style deli right next door to TFP. There's also Grand Central Bagel, which was closed the last time I was there, but looks like a good place to get coffee and a bagel. There's also fast food nearby. Consult your favorite web map for options.

Friendly's and Five Guys is a half mile up the road, as well.

sure thing! they are not listed on the "signs" by the highway, but I don't like Isaac's. I prefer greasy burgers and really good fries, lol. When getting off the exit, you go left to all the things that show up on the signs, or right for the few that do not. Friendly's and Five Guys is not even half a mile after you turn right on yoru left, where there is also a large grocery store.

I can see where Isaac's could be a hit or miss, depending on service or what you ordered.

Why not pay for the refreshments at Rachael's?
