John,
We have the following tentative schedule, but as you can see, a few things are still a bit unresolved (for example, the exact date for the Holiday Potluck at your place).
March - Merrifield Garden Center (VA) Topic: Emersed setups and plants
April - Bowie Church (MD) Topic: Probably a DIY workshop, though that has not been finalized yet
May - Rob Peterson (VA) Topic: TBD
June - Arlene (VA) Topic: TBD
July - No fixed location, we'll either do collecting trips or "Tank Tours" (date will be changed as well, due to the ACA convention)
August - No fixed location, we'll either do collecting trips or "Tank Tours"
September - Viktor (MD) Topic: TBD
October - Either Kris Weinhold or a joint meeting with ACLC in PA @ That Fish Place. Topic: TBD
Holiday Potluck (date TBD) - John Godbey (VA) Topic: Aquascaping contest awards
I know it must be frustrating that the schedule is still so "iffy". We're all kinda new at this, and we're trying hard to keep the meetings evenly mixed between MD and VA, and provide some variety and spice to the meeting topics, but trying new things turns out to be a little more effort than doing the same old thing, LOL.

What about the dates for April and May? Looking at the calendar, I see the usual GWAPA Saturday coincides with a couple of holiday weekends. Are we sticking with the fourth Saturday for those months, or moving to another Saturday? I'd like to know so I can put GWAPA on the calendar before anything else gets scheduled for those dates.

Brainstorming on meeting ideas here...
Seeing all the TBD's and the number of CO2 equipment questions we usually get, anyone on trhe board ever consider a CO2 workshop?
Line up a group buy with a vendor for parts, post a list of parts needed, what it does, and why you need it, and when the order comes in, we all assemble our regulators and CO2 systems while the old hands guide the newbies.
I know I could use a refresher since my sytem is rather old.
Cheers.

Actually, that's one idea that came up in discussing our April DIY workshop topics. It's a good idea, especially if there are a lot of folks who want/need to build CO2 rigs. Otherwise, it would be pretty cost prohibitive for the club to supply enough pieces for everyone to play with at the workshop.
