Emergency Rescape?

Post by ricoishere »

Well, my fears are justified: Seems like there's a slow leak in my 90. I'll be replacing it tomorrow most likely.

That being said, any hope of a few guys getting together and doing "Emergency Re-scape"? I went to the Stone store, and picked up some nice dark river rocks, and some flat river rocks. I have the same substrate as before, and plenty of manzanita as well.

Chinese, pizza, beer on the house. Oops, did I say beer? Kris, are you over 21 yet :P ?

Hey now, we just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary, and we didn't get married at 13. ;-)

I need to check our plans for the weekend, but I might be able to help scape this weekend for one afternoon. Do you have any timing for when you'll have a new tank to scape?

For anyone interested in seeing what Cavan, Rico, and I came up with for Rico's for 75G Aquascape, check out my post:

I've been bringing him wine on occasion. Maybe I should have carded him.

All jokes aside, Kris is being very generous in his introduction:
"For anyone interested in seeing what Cavan, Rico, and I came up with for Rico's for 75G Aquascape, check out my post"

It was more like:
"For anyone interested in seeing what Cavan and I came up with for Rico's for 75G Aquascape, check out my post".

This was more observing first class and learning from a couple of extremely competent aquascapers, IMHO. Even though this is not how I planned it, having to remove a large tank and replace it with a smaller one on a short notice. I'm definitely pleased with it. Even Bandit, an 8" leporinus is not digging, he made the large flat stone his abode. He still needs a larger home though. I thank Kris & Cavan for taking the time to do this, in a small crowded space, at the last moment. I've not been doing this for a long time, but I enjoy it more than just having fish, which is how I started. Now, should contact HGTV and let them know about this somewhat obscure, but slowly growing hobby, & GWAPAs involvement?
Again, thanks Kris & Cavan.
