January meeting

Post by ingg »

Please let me know by response here if you plan to come.

A fair warning - the basement is not going to be completely done.

All the tank plumbing is coming together, and while I'm quite confident I'll have the tank itself up and plumbed (the 180g), I'm also pretty sure the final plumbing in the basement will not be done. This means that a couple of the features such as the plumb to the drains, and the auto changer, will not be operational for the meeting.

I blame Home Depot, who screwed up my cabinet order for the bar, and that pushed back both flooring and countertops - and therefore final plumbing - until they can get the cabinets in.

Drywall is going on now, and they paint right after it is done. Baseboard trim is easy and fast, but doors are iffy, and probably not the ones around the Tank enclosure. Flooring is supposed to be completed by the 24th (I had to put it off a week for reasons above).

Dave,

I have every intention on being there. Since this will be my first meeting, is there anything I need to bring (besides the 27 pages of questions I an sure to have).

I am planning to come from Fairfax. Is there anyone who would like to ride with me?

I'll be there. Michael, no need to bring anything else, unless you wanted to bring stuff to auction.

Dave,
I'm in, as is Chris Terrell. (new member as of December).

Don't think I have anything to auction off.

I was really looking forward to this meeting, but will not be able to make it due to family obligations. Drat.

I might be able to make it there late (really, really late --like 4 or 5) to pick up my rock, though. Is that OK?
