Yes, thanks again to Rick and Mary for your hospitality. Hope we didn't overwhelm you too much with so many people.

As always, it was a great meeting with a lively auction.

Cheers.

Rick/Mary, I got so busy at the meeting, that I flat out forgot to take pictures of your tank. If you can send me some, I'll add them to this meeting page. Thanks!

Thanks to Jeff/Ghazanfar for these pictures.

Sorry all for having to dash in and out... wanted to just see the group and pay for my plant order. I had a client in Springfield have a bad thing happen on his PC at home, and was there working on the issue, and only had enough time to shoot over, peek in, and head back. lot of people, and I hated having to miss the auction... but definitely seemed to be a nice turnout!

krisw,

Hi,
I found this article on getting rid of algae with Hydrogen Peroxide. The sequence of pics as the stuff took the algae out is interesting.

Thank you Rick and Mary for hosting, it is no small feat with the crowds these days! Great meeting and your hospitality was top notch.

Loved the jungle 75g, very pretty tank!

Will all our hosts this year be able to fit this many people in their homes? I heard there were some concerns. Let me know if you need another host this year.

Marge,

That's a good article for Hydrogen Peroxide spot treatment of algae. I also mentioned yesterday that you can do the same thing with Seachem Excel, but for those that have never done it before, the article Marge found has an excellent step-by-step pictorial howto. Thanks Marge!

I'd like to add my thanks to Rick and Mary for hosting the meeting.

Kris, thank you for your presentation on algae.

And thanks to Aaron and Jeff for running the auction (and Kris for keeping track of who owed what). They did a great job keeping the auction moving along, while still taking time to give some brief info on the plants being auctioned.

Hey Kris, I was reading through my old TFH (the one that has Francine in it) and there is an article on Pond Algae as well.
