Unfortunately I live right in DC (NE, right near the Catholic Univ. of America campus). If anyone else happens to live in the city I'd happily take a ride but I get the sense most people are out in the suburbs, and given the way traffic can be the effort of coming into the city is probably not worth it. The Brookland-CUA metro stop is only about 2 blocks from where I live, and it's a short enough trip up to Glenmont on the red line.

I live in a religious community of priests and we have 5 cars that about 35 of us share...so it's a collective work of patience and "sharing." We have a priority system when it comes to getting cars; ministry and necessary things like doctor visits get highest priority access to cars, then after that necessary "errands," and then after that recreation/social use. And as much as I might feel that getting more plants for my tanks is "necessary" (haha), in the big picture I am afraid that GWAPA fits into that last category.

I will bring the substrate with me to the meeting. If Ghazanfar and Cavan do not want them, the Amazonia is $26 and the Flourite is $18. That is what I paid for them.

Thanks, Mike, but I think I'll wait until I see Aaron to get some used substrate he has. I think a whole bag of Flouriite would be too much for what I need.

Another great meeting today. Thanks for hosting it Kevin. Sean and Dave, your talk on mineralized substrate was very interesting.
