Is anyone up for visiting a LFS after the meeting? I know we've done it in the past... and I know that Scales isn't too far away? I've never been. I need to pick up sponge filters.

Depending on the time the meeting ends, I might go, but regardless, it's super easy to get to Scales:

From Georgia Ave South, take a left on Randolph Rd. Follow for awhile. Take Left onto New Hampshire Ave. Go for a little bit. Scales is on the right immediately after the Safeway.

But it's more fun to go with fish people than by myself :D I'll likely go either way.

I will be going to Scales afterwards (and probably Sean too because if he comes, I will carpool with him).

Sorry this is last minute, could anyone tell me if this is a reasonable walk from the Glenmont metro station? Google maps is telling me 24 minutes, but I've got long legs and am a fast walker so...think I could do the walk in 15-20 minutes? Does that sound about right? (I thought I was going to have access to a car tomorrow but a few things have come up so as it turns out, I won't.)

Padre, looks to be all of a mile away, might be pouring out.

Got a cell#? pm me, we can probably get you a pickup at the station.
