I'm really PO'ed, first I got screwed by work (Overtime). I finally got off work at 2pm.
I was thinking I could still make the mini auction and drop off the items I promised people... So what happens I can't find Rob's house!!! I drove up and down VA-7 looking for my turn off street couldn't find it grrrr. I didn't have a cel phone and everyone I asked for directions just scratched their head. I finally gave up around 3:30 I hope everyone had fun at the meeting I truly wanted to attend.

Thanks for hosting the meeting. It is a lot of work putting on a party for that many people and you guys did a great job.

Hopefully I can make the next meeting.

Another great meeting. I love my new plants, and the talk was very educational. Now if I could just find the moola to get my new tank, I'd be able to put all that great information to use! Thanks for a fun afternoon. :)

What size tank are you looking for? I am sure there is one in the club that wouldn't be that expensive.

Thanks for a great meeting Rob! I can't wait to see your fish room once the planted tanks are up and running.

We now have an article online from Jeff's fertilizers presentation. If you missed the meeting, or just wanted to review what he talked about, you can find it here:

Ideally, I'd love to have a 125 gallon tank, but I think I may have to settle for a 75 due to space constrictions. I'm trying to figure out if I can build a tank stand for a 125, that would hold my 75 underneath without having to brace the center front of the stand. I want to see the 75 across the bottom, without a brace. :-)

Sherry

If you built the stand so that the 75 was centered in the stand you could build it so that the ends of the 125 had over a foot to sit on and then brace along the back. I will try to sketch something for you so that you can see it but think of a fat T for the tanks.

That would be one tall stand!

4" base, say 27" height for 75g at least, gotta fit your arm in above the tank after all, another 6" for top rail, 125 is what, 22" tall?

I know I am not the tallest fellow around, but I think that setup would out the lip of the 125 above my shoulder, or at it at least.
