I could not get in touch with Sean. I say let's have the meeting, I won't go, however; for one thing, my street has not been plowed yet.

I know this a late request but I hope that the topic of this meeting will be offered again.
Kay and I would have liked to have been present at this talk and could have learned a lot.

Thanks. Still trying to decide if I'm coming, so don't count on me.

Did you guys have the meeting? We had a memorial service in Hyattsville that day. I had hoped to make it to the meeting, but the weather got so bad, I gave up on that idea. It took us 45 minutes just to get to the Beltway, and another half hour to get to Silver Spring.

Yes, we met. Expectedly, a smaller than usual turnout, but a good meeting overall. Sam gave a great talk on his experiences in the hobby.

Will Sam be offering to talk again, when the weather is nice and we can count on more people making it to the meeting?

Uh...maybe? I'm wary of flapping my gums too much. We talked for a lot longer than I expected--but a lot of it was discussion about the best way to get people started.

If GWAPA needs a location for the August meeting, the inside work at our house should be ending by the end of June. :D
Kay and I can see about having a meeting here in DC and for you to be flapping your gums, it would be worth our having a meeting.

So, here in our home could be an option, if you like.
