It was an excellent Gwapa Meeting yesterday. Thanks Michael for hosting. It was fun and interesting touring the greenhouses and gardens and listening to Michael talk about carniverous plants.

I'm really sorry I had to miss that one. I remember the presentation last year on carnivorous plants, and it was one of my favorites. I look forward to the write up.

You never know what you're going to find, or where you're going to find it. So keep looking.
Bob, Kris has a great blog entry on the meeting that could well suffice for a writeup (Jen wasn't there, so we'll miss out on her excellent write-ups).
It was such a fun meeting! It was very cool to see the Aldrovanda spp in person for the first time! I also can't wait to apply some of the Utric and mosses to terrariums in the future I also find it cool that there is someone local that could be a good source for starter cultures of the really tiny infusoria... he uses it for the aquatics, but since I'm hoping to breed fish who as adults think Daphnia are big, I know I'm going to be hitting him up for a culture down the line!
Corey, get an old dirty sponge filter from a running tank and when you clean it, first squeeze it into a jar a couple times. When the jar settles, you will see that you have a huge colony of rotifers ready to be fed to small fish. All you need is a turkey baster.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.
If you've got bait, I've got wasabi!
I wish I could be like Mr. Sarcastic when I grow up!
