I can't do Memorial Day Weekend. I think we ought to start a poll of the three dates in question for everyone, so we can tally up.

From the thread, I think I have the following folks who can do each date span, all Thurs-Tues: (Please correct me if wrong, I'll update as the thread progresses)

May 24-May 29 - Ghazanfar, Michael, Sean, Viktor

May 31-June 5 - Kris, Sean, Michael

June 7-June 12 - Kris, Ghazanfar, Rodney, Michael, Sean

In order of preference for myself it would be as follows:

(1) June 7-12

The other weekends do not work because of my work assignments.

I can make any of those extended weekends. My preference would be for the weekend when the greatest number of us can partake. I'm also very much in favor of Thursday-Tuesday.

Sitting here in my fishroom with George (PVAS & CCA). He ands I are neighbors and traveled together last summer to Peru. He would be interested in joining us on the trip if that would be OK with the GWAPA members. What say those who are going?

I'm really interested in doing whatever I can to see that we can pull this off. Once you develop the collecting bug it is hard to find a cure. Iâ€™m especially interested since I must take a hiatus on traveling to Peru. The Margarita trip conflicts with a thirtieth wedding anniversary. (Priorities - I know I need to get a grasp!!!)

When will we make a final decision as to the appropriate weekend and other arrangements for the trip. Iâ€™m sure we need to close this out soonest to allow Ghazanfar time to call his contacts to arrange visits.

Please let me know what I can do to help!

So, let's make a decision here so we can all get out time-off requests into our bosses. It's been awhile since anyone else has chimed in with interest going, so I suggest we cut it off, and pick the date with the most available members. That looks to be June 7-12. That's 5 people, plus a possible 2 more if Kevin and George can make those dates as well.

Please discuss, counter, agree, etc. so we can move this forward.

Let's confirm the trip for June 7-12 and take those days off work.
Folks from NASH may be joining us in FL as well - I'll know later
on this week if that's a go.
