Everyone who will want plants should bring plastic bags or some kind of a container, especially if we collect anything. I will have some bulk stuff for people to pick from.

Re: August Picnic and Native Plant Tour
All,
So sorry Alexander and I bailed on the picnic yesterday. I had to somewhat unexpectedly take our family cat to the vet and put him down Saturday morning, and we decided to get two new sister kittens that had to be picked up from the shelter no later than 2pm from Silver Spring.
We were really looking forward to the picnic and it was such a beautiful day. I hope everyone had a great time, and I will look forward to seeing you all at my house next month.
In the meantime, my boys and I are very busy with two VERY active Bombay kittens. I never even heard of Bombay cats before, but now that I have lucked into owning two of them, I am already impressed. They are super smart and from a practical point of view they shed next to no hair. I already have grand plans to toilet train them and also train them to do little tricks. They are also great in helping us remember all the good things about our beloved Josie Posie, and not miss him so much.
My son Alexander named his kitten Alejandra, and Zack named his Zacharina.
I hope someone will post pictures of the picnic.
