I'm now going. I need to buy airfare but I want to know what people are planning for collecting after the convention. Also looking for a roommate, I don't smoke but I might snore.

Yay, Sean! We aren't staying after Sunday, but will enjoy having your company while we are there!

Does anyone know if it's okay to carry-on plants with us? I looked around on the airline websites and it's not necessarily on the prohibited list.

Ben, carry on, or checked? I know you can check plants no problem. I don't know about in your carry on -- definitely not if there's any water in the bag.

Carry on. Orchids won't deal with the cold in the hold. The water is the difference though. The orchids don't have any. I did bring a flask carry on one time. They just never saw it. :-)

You can get water from the bathroom or water fountain after you go through security. I always take an empty water bottle and fill it before I get on the plane.
