My wife agreed to make a pork roast (read: pork shoulder in an oven bag). Will bring that.

George, if you'd like to drop a cobbler off here, I'll bring it. Your other obligations are no reason we should suffer through a cobbler free meeting. ;)

I have figured out what I will bring beside the chocolate chips cookies. It's another kind of dessert, and I will make it from scratch.

Below is what everyone has volunteered to bring so far. It looks like we are going to have some good eats! Appetizers and desserts are always a hit, so if you haven't signed up for something and are wondering what to bring, you might consider one of those. However, if you have a great recipie for a side dish, that would be appreciated as well.

main:
  • Pork roast (Andrey)
    Vege Chili (John G)
Ham (might switch to turkey) (Julie)
sides:
  • black spicy chickpeas (Ghazanfar)
healthy vege or healthy starch dish (Aaron)
    vege dish (Kris)
    cheese tray (Josh)
dessert:
  • Choc chip cookies + ? (Viktor)
    crepe mille cake (Arlene)
other:
  • soda pop cans & water (Christy)
    rolls (Kevin)
bean relish with fritos (Jim M)
    cranberry relish (Julie)
    ice (John G)
Julie
37g planted, 11g planted, and three 5.2g planted shrimp tanks.

I couldn't find an announcement for the meeting on the web site. What's the address and time?

Unfortunately I will miss this meeting too. Up to a week ago I was certain I will be able to attend the Holiday meeting ... guess not.
I don't want to start making resolutions for the next year, but ... maybe next year will be better in terms of my GWAPA participation.
