September meeting?
I'd just ask to bum a ride in exchange for plants, but this coming Saturday is one of only two times a year they have the tower climb at the National Cathedral. It's great fun! Very cool stuff, and the times they have are earlier in the day, making it possible to do that and the meeting. Anyone up for it?

Chris --I like the way you think! Maybe my friend the crock-pot can help me out here. And yes, the girls will be playing next week too; and since their dad is going to miss their games one weekend when he's out of town, perhaps it's time to let go of the mommy guilt.
So put me down as a definite maybe.

That's why they make TV dinners!Judi wrote:Drat. I don't know if I'm going to make the meeting. I had already been wrestling with the moral dilemmas of whether I was a bad mommy to miss my daughters' soccer games, and whether it would be evil to skedaddle when my in-laws are visiting. But now my husband is making noises about inviting additional dinner guests that night. Sigh. I guess we'll see what happens.
