I actually have some of those laying around from my old shower curtain. Think they'd be safe? Or are those coated in a way that makes them so?

Hi all. I have a couple of ram cichlids that need a new home. Two gold males and one juvenile blue. They've proven too disruptive for my tank. If anyone wants them, they're free. Otherwise they are going to be Petco donations.

They are epoxy coated. You could coat yours yourself with epoxy or maybe silicone or plasti-dip.
