I noticed, but was hoping it would fall under the radar and into my tank. ;-)

Hopefully it will hang on until then. It's sensitive. It seems to like tons of phosphate.

Cooler water too? And presumably does not tolerate Excel or H2O2?

LOL! I want some Elatine gussonei, but I'm going to be late to the party. Hubby has his company party at the same time as ours, and I promised that I would attend until Santa showed up with gifts for all the kids, which is at 330.

So I'll try to get there as soon as my kids get their gifts, but I'm driving from Ashburn. Ugh!

I doubt cooler water matters given its natural habitat, but it probably doesn't hurt. The temps we use are fine though.

It tolerates Excel just fine. H202 maybe not so much. It really doesn't tolerate 0 ppm phosphates is the biggest one. Elatines in general just have little to no nutrient storage mechanism.

Woo hoo!! I'm actually coming to a meeting this year!!! :D :D Marlene is sewing Christmas gifts tomorrow so I'm free for the day.

Doing a trim of the 110 so I'm not sure what I'll bring, but probably:

Bolbitis heudelotii (large form)
Hygrophila corymbosa 'angustifolia'
Microsorum pteropus 'Trident'
Riccia fluitans
Taxiphyllum barbierii (Java moss)

And some Tanichthys micagammae (Vietnamese Mountain Minnows) from same tank.

I also have 2 18 Watt straight 4-pin compact florescent bulbs if someone is interested. They're OttLite 508 full spectrum bulbs from one of Marlene's sewing lights that died. One bulb is a couple of years old, the other is opened, but never used.

http://www.amazon.com/OttLite-High-Defi ... B000050GUT

Kris W, can Lauren use them?

I'm looking for some OEBT's to stock the 110 so if anyone has some, I'd be obliged.

Cheers.
