does anyone want some peat moss? i bought a bag today and the smallest they sell is like 40-50 pounds :shock: i can make 375 baggies for my filter now :mrgreen: anyone wants some let me know and i will bring it to the meeting

I will bring a couple of bags of plants, not sure what at this point - I will see what sticks out :)
Need to pay and pick up the Kens order also.

Oh, if anyone has some egg yolk powder ( just a little bit ) and can bring it for me at the meeting I would appreciate it.

The lab I work in cultures alot of various green macro algae's as well as a few other aquatic embryophytes. Most of which i've never seen in a planted tank before, although we have growing in glass jars all over our window sills.

Is there any interest in this kind of stuff?

Species that are currently harvestable are:
Chara sp. -- Various unknown species grown from spores
Eleocharis vivipara (collected in the Dominican republic in 1988 and has been sitting in a big glass on a window sill ever since)

We also have a bunch of neat Marsilea's growing (not M. quadrafolia) but they won't be harvestable for a few months

This lab you speak of...where is it? Is there a night guard? Cameras?
