Florida or bust!

I am interested, but all depends on the dates. I can take 3 days off, so if we leave on Thursday and get back on Monday, that would work for me. However, if you are planning on the weekend of June 8th and 9th to be included in the time frame, I probably won't be able to go as that is very close to the end of school. So, any ideas on the exact days?

I doubt this will be in the cards for me, 4 day fishie vacation may just send the better half over the edge.

Bring back some driftwood for me!

Thanks Rob. I shoulds have said the Rainbow River in Florida, and also, the San Marcos in Texas, are chocked full of Crypts. Sometimes my fingers can't keep up with my thoughts. Don't go there!

We could leave May 31st (Thursday) and be back on June 4th (Monday)
That'll give us three full days there as it'll take pretty much all of Thursday
to get there and all of Monday to get back. Is three days enough?

I think we'd spend half the time driving from place to place with not much time left to collect. I think 4 days there is a minimum.

I recall we arrived there on thursday evening (after picking up our fishing licenses at a Walmart) for dinner etc with the other out of towners who were there. Friday we went to the driftwood place and did some local collecting while heading towards Tampa. Saturday we did a lot of collecting near Jonathans peeps place (think thunderstorms). Sunday we did some collecting and the Springs stuff and headed over towards North Miami for the Monday tour of FAN and then we headed over to do some collecting in Ocachobie (sp?) before stopping at Jacksonville for the night and then I think we headed back on Tuesday.

Thurs May 31st to Tues, June 5th would work for me.

I think that sounds about right. Those dates should work for me too.
Ricky Cain is 50/50 at this point. His 50% vote is there - he needs the other
50% from his wife.

I cant give a awnser until the dates are positivley set. I need something concrete so I can get scehduled off from work.
