Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that DC Water, Arlington Water, and Fairfax Water will be adding chlorine to their water as part of the spring flushing of the water lines.

Don't forget to add extra dechlorinator to your water when you do those water changes!

There are no happy endings.
Endings are the saddest part.

Even if you don't live in those regions, chances are that your turn is coming! THis is common procedure, between about now and late April to early May. Dose the extra prime.

Re: Chlorine in the Water
Even worse, the chlorine reacts with ammonia that is naturally occurring in the water supply due to spring rains and runoff, creating chloramines. Be very careful and use a dechlorinator that takes out everything!
