Let me add my thanks to Julie for hosting. I enjoyed seeing your beautiful tanks, and the food was wonderful. And thanks to all who contributed to making this meeting --and the club as a whole-- such a success!

If anyone took either notes on Rachel's talk, or took pictures, please send them to me at christopher.todd@gmail.com, and I'll get them into the meeting notes. Thanks!

I took some notes, but didn't take pictures (believe me, you wouldn't want me to! )

I'll get them to you as soon as I can.

That's just the plants I purchased, I really did over do it but I also had a blast at my first meeting and I'm looking foward to the next one.

Julie you really worked hard to keep us all happy and you did a wonderful job, my wife got some of your recipies and also wants to know more about the pepper plants in your kitchen window, thank you so much for having us! Your tanks also blew me away and are beautiful, clean, and very neatly trimmed, they were really a treat!

Everyone was very nice and I learned a lot about the latin pronunciations I've been saying incorrectly in my head for 8 years or so, and it was nice to meet and see the faces of folks I've been talking to on the forums.
Sincerely,
Tim

Tim, I am so glad you were able to come to the meeting. It was nice your wife came along too. She was a good sport. Most meetings last three hours, not FIVE, so she really hung in there.

To answer your question about the peppers in my garden window, they are just ornamental peppers -- meant to look pretty but not be eaten. I bought them at my local garden store.

I have earned a reputation for buying a lot of plants at my first several GWAPA mtgs. Unless I get another tank, I am at my tanks' limits. So, that means YOU will have to take up the slack for my decreased purchasing.
