This is from the Washington Post, my apologies for posting it so late.
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation needs volunteers to grow submerged vegetation in their homes from early February to mid-May. After the growing period, volunteers will join the Foundation planting the grasses in the Occoquan River. A one-hour training class will take place in January. A program participation fee of $40 includes a 2x3 foot grow kit, instruction packet, class registration and seeds. Registration is required by Dec. 19th.
