Our August 22nd is at Mike Szesze's house in Derwood, MD. Mike is an expert on carnivorous plants, and from what I understand has quite a collection of them. He runs Carnivorous Plant Nursey.com, and should give a great talk.
We'll hold our regular auction as well.
Please post here if you plan on attending so that we can give Mike a headcount.

i might not make it either unfortunatly i turn twenty plus five a day before and i will probably be out in ocean city plus that whole week is my vacation week that i haven't had in over two years!! but none of that means i won't make it

It sounds very interesting, and I plan on attending, if work doesn't get in the way again.
I'll also take some shrimp if anyone is interested... I don't know what type they are, I think they are mixed, but they do the cleanup and are a great snack for fish
They are neocaridina something, some present some blue stripes and some have a brown stripes on the back and some have some red stripes ... just like tigers.
